Das Sendungsregister wird als ein Verzeichnis für tierischen Nebenprodukte am FLI Jena genutzt. Zur Dokumentation gehören Infos z.B. über Art des Nebenprodukts, Spezies und auch zur Entsorgung. Die Dokumentation erfolgt gruppenzentriert, sodass Einträge anderer Gruppen nicht eingesehen werden können. Administrative Nutzer haben Zugriff auf alle Einträge und können Listen exportieren, die alle am FLI vorhandenen tierischen Nebenprodukte enthält.
